These are the qualities a Process Engineer needs to have in order to do a good job introducing the process and then constantly improving it during the development effort.

Knowledge

• Background as an OO developer.
• Background working with Architecture and Design.
• Background in Analysis and Requirement gathering work.
• Know in UML and have done Use Case modeling and other forms of modeling.
• Understand Project Management issues.
• Understand the importance of Testing.
• Background of using, understand and appreciate the importance of SCM.
• Understand the importance of change management.

Personal Traits

• Good at Communication with people at all levels on teams.
• Patient.
• Tolerant.
• Be able to cope under stress.
• Always remain positive and not panic.
• Constantly on the move and circulating amongst the whole team.
